Scientific fact. Believe it or not, MUCH research has been done on this subject, much of which is easily accessible with a simple internet search.
By the way, not only do you breathe it, it spreads out over pretty much every surface of the bathroom and farther, including your towels, your soap, your toothbrush, everything.
